Protesters tear the flag of Britain in Ecuador because of Julian Assange’s case (Videos)

Dozens of people gathered, before a few hours, outside the embassy of Great Britain in Ecuador.

They wanted to protest against the threat of the British state to arrest Julian Assange. Protesters chanted slogans against Great Britain: Ecuador is not a colony, they said.

In the video, at some point, the wind threw the flag of Great Britain and demonstrators tore it. After the policemen took the flag and gave it to personnel of Embassy.

"Hostile and unfriendly act"

Yesterday Ecuador's Foreign Minister Ricardo Patino said at a press conference:

"For us the position of the British government is admissible as much from a political as a legal point of view. It is a hostile and unfriendly act on the part of a state with which Ecuador traditionally maintains friendly, cooperative relationships".

In the same time according to following video "a group of about 10 police officers entered the Embassy of Ecuador in London early this morning. Wikileaks founder Julian Assange is inside the building and British authorities have threatened to bypass international boundaries and arrest him".
